How We Work.
New to PQ.
If you are new to PQ, Welcome – you are in the right place!
If you would like your dog to join the PQ family or you would simply like some more info/to talk through anything then please complete the form via the ‘enquire now’ button at the top of this page. After the form has been completed a trusted team member will be in touch via email.
Please note – all dogs that attend Paw Quarters must be socialised and show no signs of aggression to both doggies or humans.
We offer both regular visits or ad-hoc visits, so whichever suits you then please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate!
We also offer a drop in service from 9:45am – 3.30pm – this is a flexible service with regular availability. It can be booked both in advance or the day before.
Telephone Consult.
All new customers require a telephone conversation to determine the suitability of your dog visiting PQ, during this phone call we will get to know a little about your pooch, run you though how we work, how to set up on our system, and answer any further questions you may have.
Booking Your Dogs First Day.
Your dog’s first day will be classed at their trial day, you will need to be contactable and on call ready to collect your pooch if they do not settle in well. This is very unlikely to happen, however, we have to take precaution on your doggies first visit.
Future Bookings.
YAY - Now that your dog’s trial day has been successful, we will pop your agreed bookings onto your account. If you are a regular weekly customer then your bookings will be added to your account once a month, you will also be billed monthly. If you are an ad-hoc customer then we ask for you to email your required dates over and we will do our best to accommodate this.
Payments.

We also accept multiple dogs from the same home and offer a discount for each additional dog as outlined in our pricing chart below. Our Rules.
Please read before your dog’s first day!
• All dogs must be up-to-date with their vaccinations including kennel cough. Once you have received a new copy of your vaccinations please make sure you update your vaccinations on your online profile, you will also receive reminders by email.
• All dogs must wear either a collar or harness with a name tag for every visit.
• We do not accept male dogs between the ages of 8 - 24 months that have not been castrated.
• Please notify us if your dog suffers from food allergies – we would ask you provide special treats so that they don’t miss out on treat time!
• Please ensure that you are contactable whilst your dog is at day care – especially on their trial day.
• We do not feed dogs lunch over the age of 12 months unless they have special requirements
• Females in heat must not attend PQ – if we feel your dog is in season we may ask you to come and collect her. Females must wait 2 weeks after the bleeding has stopped to attend day care again.
• We will be open and honest with you throughout your dog’s visits with us and we ask that you do the same – particularly if you have noticed any changes in behaviour.
• Your dog will be interacting throughout the day with other dogs and humans therefore they must be sociable. If your dog shows any signs of unsociable behaviour we will inform you and advise you on what decisions need to be made going forward.
